The use and maintenance method of claw hammer
Nov 15, 2020
Be sure to use the claw hammer correctly to drive the nail straight into the wood. During operation, the top of the hammer should be perpendicular to the axis of the nail, and don't be skewed, otherwise the nail will be easily bent.
In order to make the nail into the wood smoothly, the first few hammers should be tapped to keep the nail straight into the wood to a certain depth, and the last few hammers can be slightly harder to avoid bending of the nail body. When nailing nails on hardwood, you should drill a small hole in the wood according to the nail specifications, and then nail it to prevent the nails from bending or splitting the wood nails. If the claw hammer is loose, it is mostly at the connection between the hammer head and the hammer handle. If the hammer head is loose, the nail will be easily bent when driving the nail, and the hammer head is easy to fall off and hurt people. This can be done in the hammer hole. Drive iron wedges or nails into the wooden handle and back tightly.
If the hammer handle breaks, you should first use a punch to punch out the broken hammer handle that is broken in the hammer head hole, and then reinstall the hammer handle according to the size of the hole.
